Monsoon Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Peter Simon founded Monsoon in 1973, for the production of fashion and accessories for women. The style of this brand is inspired by India, the colours, the materials that are used in the country, taking their craftsmanship techniques and original printings that come from the Indian tradition, such as the Batik technique, for the hand printing of difficult designs in textiles.

The brand opened its first boutique in London and soon expanded around the world with over 1300 stores. They also created the sub-brand Accessorize, dedicated exclusively to accessories. The brand incurred in other branches of the industry, such as children wear, shoes, home linen or fragrances.

Monsoon has a good reputation, thanks to their fair trade approach to the production of clothes, their creation of the Monsoon Accessorize Trust, to collaborate with children and women in need in the Asian continent, and because in 2007, the brand obtained the Queen's Award for International Trade.

Monsoon has produced many fragrances for women, being one of the primary the floral Shimo Monsoon for Women, that was launched in 1996 with mandarin, orange blossom and bergamot. This fragrance was followed by other delicate creations such as the spicy and citric Monsoon for women, with amber oil, bergamot and Moroccan rose, that was launched with great success in 2008, or the woody Elation, launched in 2010, with accords of rose, tea and freesia. Their latest release is Rose Gold for women, launched in 2015, and containing warm notes of vanilla, amber, musk, lemon, ozone and tuberose.
