Jeanne Arthes Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Jeanne Arthes is a French perfume manufacturer established in 1978, by Bernard Perrin, and has been a family-run business ever since. The company, which is known as the Arthes Group and also includes the brands Jeanne d'Urfe and Jeanne-en-Provence, is based in the “perfume capital” Grasse, just north of the Côte d'Azur. They offer a big catalogue of male and female fragrances, body care products and home scents, which are all produced on site in their very own factory.

An important line of business is their export trade to countries outside of France, and therefore the Arthes Group is constantly looking to expand their international trade by working with an ever-growing number of distributors and retailers.
Their export income currently represents 75% of their turnover and the Arthes Group distribute their products to more than 120 countries worldwide. Through their licensing division they also develop fragrances for other brands. The brand has been especially successful on the German market.

The company is known for their focus on French tradition and they collaborate with local Master perfumers, like Jean-Pierre Bethouart. In 2011 the company introduced their Jeanne-en-Provence line, which consists of fragrances inspired by the French Provence and values of the French heritage.

Their most popular female fragrance is without doubt Cobra (1988), a oriental-floral scent with spicy notes of tuberose, jasmine and vanilla. The fragrance was a big seller in the 1980s and has since been relaunched with the special Cobra Anniversary Edition (2008), 30 years after its first launch. Amongst their popular fragrances for women we find the floral and musky Cassandra (1970s), the chyphre floral Jeanne (2000s), the floral and woody Amore Mio (2001), the oriental floral Romantic (2015) the sweet and fruity Candy Drops (2015) and the floral and fruity fragrances Les Lions D'Arthes (2001), Love Generation (2007), Mascarade (2001) and Boum Be Different (2008).
