Elizabeth Taylor Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor was a British-American actress with 50 films and two Oscars under her belt, but she was just as famous for her scandalous love life, many husbands, extensive jewellery range, health problems, perfumes and huge fortune.

At the age of just 10 Elizabeth starred in her first film, One Born Every Minute (1942), she since went on to become an iconic actress with several box hits. One of which, Cleopatra (1963), saw her in the headlines, not just because it was the most expensive film to be produced, but also because it was here she met her fifth husband, Richard Burton. The scandal was that both of them were still married while starting their love affair, even the pope got involved castigating Taylor for stealing another woman’s husband.

Elizabeth Arden was a style icon, not just on screen but in her personal life as well. Many women copied her "cat-eye" makeup look from the movie Cleopatra (still bang on trend today). Elizabeth’s personal style was bold; she loved sequins, flowers, beading, feathers and bows and you could be sure that she would make a statement on the red carpet.

Taylor was the first celebrity who created her own line of fragrances. Her first fragrance Passion from 1987 became a bestseller. Elizabeth was very involved in her fragrances, and as she loved gorgeous (and expensive) jewels she named her second perfume White Diamonds which is rich, strong and powerful, just like Taylor herself. White Diamond has a strong floral opening, a warm heart and an oriental base. The flacon comes with a diamond crusted ring, making it feel even more luxurious and classy.

In an autobiography about Elizabeth Taylor, it is mentioned that her perfume empire has earned Elizabeth as much as her entire acting career has, in fact the British newspaper The Guardian estimated that the majority of her estimated $600 million–$1 billion estate consisted of profits from her Elizabeth Taylor perfumes.

Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor was born on February 27, 1932, in London, England and died at the age of 79 in 2011. She will always be remembered for her incredible beauty, amazing eyelashes, chaotic love life, eight husbands, numerous movies and The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation from 1991.
