Salvador Dali Cologne & Men's Fragrance

Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marqués de Dalí de Pubol (better known as just Salvador Dali) was born in Spain in 1904 and passed away in 1989. I was a well known surrealist painter, but did also make many other projects,such as sculptures, film scenarie and books.

When Salvador was 14 he discovered his love for painting when he went to a summer drawing school. Only five years after did he have his first public exhibition. He pursued his painting dreams when he in 1922 moved to Madrid to study on the famous Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. Salvador got noticed first for his different style, but later more for his experiments with Cubism.

After getting expelled from from the school in 1926, Salvador chose to move to Paris where he met noticeable artists such as Picasso. It was also here he met The Love of his life Gala Eluard, who later became his wife.

Some of Salvador Dali's most famous pieces includes the Mae West Lips Sofa, the paintings The Persistence of Memory, Swans Reflecting Elephants and Metamorphosis of Narcissus. He has also worked on numerous films, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound, Christian Dior costumes together with books, architecture and photographs.

Gala was not only the love of his life, she was also his inspiration for his first perfume Salvador Dali Parfum that got launched in 1983.

His first male fragrance was launched in 1987 and is called Salvador Daqli Pour Homme, a oriental fragrance. Both women and men fragrances from Salvador Dali has bottles with lips on them – a known symbol for Salvaor Dali's art.
