The Beat by Burberry is a woody and fresh spicy fragrance for men.

The scent is composed with an opening of citron and violet, developing into a geranium and thyme heart, whilst the dry down consists of woody notes and vetiver.

The composition was developed by perfumers, Oliver Polge and Domitille Bertier and the name 'The Beat' was taken from its musical influences, which as a concept was inspired by the edgy sound of the Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and the Fratellis.

The bottle was inspired by the classic checked Burberry print, which had been enlarged and displayed on the flacon of glass.

The Beat was launched by Burberry in 2008.
